Please celebrate with us for a fun and relaxing weekend at Sugarloaf Ski Resort in Carrabassett Valley, Maine from Friday, April 11th to Sunday, April 13th. We will ski, snowboard, enjoy a catered dinner, spend time with close family/friends, and celebrate the next chapter of Max and Erica.
Running parallel to our celebration is the annual Sugarloaf Reggae Festival . Good vibes, live music, and food trucks will be in full effect. Sugarloaf village restaurants and shops will also be operating as usual. Max and Erica recommend D'Ellies Bakery & Deli for breakfast/lunch, The Bag or The Rack for dinner, and Eighty8 Donuts for a sweet treat.
Max and Erica met at the University of Maine in 2018. Max was studying computer science and Erica was studying economics and math. They met through Tinder when Max asked to take Erica up for an airplane ride. Erica said no, telling Max her mother told her not to get into a stranger's airplane. Instead, they ran an errand together, then watched The Office (US). They hit it off immediately, finding common interests in snowboarding, life experiences, ambition, and humor. Today, they live on a small farm with their dog, cats, and horses. Their love for one another grows stronger each day.
Hit the slopes or soak in the vibes at Reggae Fest! Friday kicks off Sugarloaf's annual Reggae Festival, featuring live music, tasty food trucks, and plenty of good times.

together afterward for our
Base Lodge Hurrah!:
Skiers & Riders:
We'll ride the chairlift to the ceremony spot (location
dependent on conditions), exchange vows, then shred down together!
Please arrive at the chairlift 15 minutes early.
Ground Crew:
Meet at the base to enjoy a livestream of the ceremony and
cheer as the newlyweds glide down the slopes.
